Earlier reports indicated that AMD was set to launch two fresh X3D processors: the Ryzen 7 9850X3D and the Ryzen 9 9950X3D2. At present, the Ryzen 7 9850X3D has surfaced on AMD's official website support page, thereby validating its existence.
This processor represents an overclocked iteration of the R7 9800X3D, boasting a 500MHz boost in core frequency and achieving an accelerated frequency of 5.6GHz. It is anticipated to make its formal introduction at CES in January 2026.
As for the other model, the Ryzen 9 9950X3D2, it showcases a dual 3D cache CCD architecture, offering a total cache capacity of 192MB. It also reaches an accelerated frequency of 5.6GHz and has a Thermal Design Power (TDP) of 200W. Priced at an estimated $799, this processor is primarily geared towards high-end gaming aficionados.
