As reported by Bloomberg, Lenovo Group is amassing memory and other crucial components to tackle the supply scarcity stemming from the AI surge. In an interview, Wong Wai Ming, the CFO of Lenovo, revealed that the company's present inventory of components is roughly 50% greater than the norm. With the rapid expansion of global AI data centers, the skyrocketing demand for memory has led to an increase in costs for consumer electronics producers. However, Lenovo aims to capitalize on this inventory edge to attain profitability.
