On the 21st, Taiwan's economic affairs authority announced that it had officially approved NVIDIA's application to establish a subsidiary in Taiwan with an investment of NT$1 billion. In September of this year, the authority had already preliminarily approved NVIDIA's establishment of NVIDIA Classic Taiwan Co., Ltd. On November 12, NVIDIA proposed an amendment to its investment plan, increasing the original investment amount to NT$1 billion for the development of facilities such as commercial office buildings, in order to meet the relevant conditions for leasing the superficies rights of the T17 and T18 sites in the Beitou Shilin Science Park.
