Based on the most recent memory spot price trend report released by TrendForce, in the DRAM market, spot prices for both DDR4 and DDR5 have been on an upward trajectory. This surge is largely attributed to sellers adopting a wait-and-see stance. Furthermore, the current quoted prices for DRAM chips have now exceeded those for modules, a situation that strongly suggests a substantial rise in module prices could be on the horizon in the near future. As for NAND, the spot price for 512Gb TLC NAND wafers witnessed a notable increase of 17.1% this week, reaching $6.455 per unit. It is expected that the ongoing supply shortage will persist, and price hikes are likely to extend into the upcoming quarter.
