They expressed hope for the swift issuance of 'short-term individual permits' to reinstate the supply chain. High-ranking officials from Germany's OmniVision and the president of Volkswagen China have both confirmed that the automotive sector has now received its inaugural batch of Nexperia chips. Earlier, China's Ministry of Commerce had implemented measures to exempt compliant civilian-related exports, aiming to ease the burden on automakers.
