On October 29, news emerged that China had officially inaugurated its first national-level automotive chip standard verification pilot service platform in Shenzhen on October 28. This milestone marks a significant leap forward in China's ability to verify and evaluate the quality of automotive-grade chips.

The platform boasts 13 specialized laboratories, encompassing an automotive-grade chip environment and reliability lab, a failure analysis lab, an information security lab, and a performance testing lab. Equipped with over 80 sets of cutting-edge testing equipment, it is capable of performing verification tests for more than 30 automotive chip standards.

Looking ahead, China plans to harness this platform to devise unified evaluation methodologies for automotive-grade chips, establish a standardized verification system, tackle key shared technologies in automotive-grade chip testing, drive quality enhancements in China's automotive chips, and offer Chinese solutions to the global ecosystem of the intelligent connected new energy vehicle industry.
