On October 8, 2025, Jensen Huang, the CEO of NVIDIA, made it clear that the company is set to persist in sponsoring U.S. H-1B visas and will bear all the related costs. Huang, being an immigrant himself, shared his profound understanding of how the opportunities offered by the United States have had a life-altering impact. He emphasized that NVIDIA's remarkable success would be unattainable without the contributions of immigrants. Earlier, in the previous month, U.S. President Trump signed an executive order stipulating that a fee of $100,000 must be paid for each new H-1B visa application. Nevertheless, this directive does not extend to those who already possess H-1B visas or applicants who submitted their paperwork prior to September 21, 2025.
