Recently, the construction of the storage chip headquarters and industrialization base project undertaken by Zhejiang Kangying Semiconductor Technology Co., Ltd. has officially gotten underway in the Donggang region of Zhizao New City, Quzhou, Zhejiang Province. This project is strategically positioned as an all-encompassing production base, seamlessly integrating cutting-edge storage chip design, research and development (R&D), as well as packaging and testing processes. It spans the entire supply chain, with the ambitious goal of forging a comprehensive industrial ecosystem.

The project boasts a planned total construction area of 250,000 square meters and entails a substantial total investment of around 2.3 billion yuan. The implementation of the project will be carried out in two distinct phases. Phase I is slated to commence trial production in the fourth quarter of 2026, at which point it will start to form large-scale production capabilities for high-end storage chips. Meanwhile, Phase II will zero in on the industrial application of next-generation storage technologies, playing a pivotal role in propelling technological breakthroughs and fostering innovation within China's storage chip sector.
