On September 28, media outlets including The Times of India and the South China Morning Post reported that Jensen Huang, the founder and CEO of NVIDIA, remarked that China's chip - manufacturing industry is experiencing rapid development and is trailing the US by a mere "few nanoseconds". He urged the US government to loosen the restrictions on chip exports to China. By doing so, he believed, US tech firms would be able to engage in fair competition within the Chinese market. This, he argued, would ultimately serve the mutual interests of both China and the US.
