A research report issued by CITIC Securities highlights that Yangtze Memory Technologies (YMTC) successfully completed the registration for its Phase III project on September 5th. The project boasts a registered capital of RMB 20.72 billion, with YMTC itself serving as the major shareholder. Citing data from TrendForce, the report notes that YMTC currently commands approximately an 8.1% share of the global NAND flash memory market. Furthermore, Electronic Times has reported YMTC's ambitious plan to elevate this market share to 15% by the end of 2026. Given the ongoing expansion of domestic memory production capabilities and the swift rise in equipment localization rates, it is anticipated that this will substantially bolster demand for domestically produced equipment, components, and materials. Consequently, it is advisable to maintain a close watch on companies operating within China's domestic memory industry supply chain.
