Recently, the State Administration for Market Regulation has given its green light to the establishment of the National Measurement and Testing Center for the In Vitro Diagnostic Medical Device Industry. This move is strategically designed to propel the industry towards high-quality development and to solidify the technical bedrock of measurement and testing.
At present, the in vitro diagnostic industry is grappling with several hurdles, notably the absence of standardized measurement protocols. There is an urgent need for comprehensive measurement and testing services that span the entire traceability chain, encompass the whole industrial chain, and cover the full life cycle of products. Such services are crucial for facilitating domestic substitution efforts and bolstering the industry's stance in the global competitive landscape.
