On Friday, South Korea's Ministry of Economy and Finance declared that South Korea and Australia have inked a pact to substantially intensify their cooperation on supply chains within crucial strategic industries. This landmark agreement was forged during the inaugural round of discussions held in Canberra. It was jointly signed by Sohn Woong-ki, a high-ranking official from South Korea's Ministry of Economy and Finance who oversees economic security and supply chains, alongside his Australian counterpart, Jocelyn Cooper from the Australian Treasury. The essence of this collaboration is to bolster the resilience and mutual complementarity of the supply chains of both nations in key strategic sectors.
