However, on September 4, a ByteDance spokesperson addressed these speculations, categorically denying their veracity. The spokesperson clarified that the core of ByteDance's chip business remains unchanged and that the only alteration was a migration of Feishu tenants. Any exaggerated claims of layoffs, independence, or fundamental changes in the business structure are unequivocally false.
