During the morning session, all three major A-share indices declined, including the Shanghai Composite Index, the Shenzhen Component Index, and the Beijing Stock Exchange 50 Index. The ChiNext Index, however, remained relatively stable. Market activity waned, with over 4,300 stocks recording losses. In sectoral performance, games, semiconductors, gold, and film and television theaters stood out with gains, defying the overall market trend. On the other hand, minor metals and securities firms fared poorly.
