EVE Energy has officially unveiled its Chengdu mass production base for solid-state batteries, spanning a total area of approximately 11,000 square meters. The facility's construction will proceed in two phases, aiming to achieve an annual production capacity of nearly 500,000 battery cells upon full operation. Phase I, targeted for completion in December 2025, will be equipped to manufacture 60Ah batteries. Phase II, anticipated to conclude by December 2026, is expected to reach an annual production capacity of 100MWh. The recently off-the-production-line "Longquan No. 2" battery is a 10Ah all-solid-state battery boasting an impressive energy density of up to 300Wh/kg and a volumetric energy density of 700Wh/L, making it ideally suited for high-end applications such as humanoid robots, low-altitude aircraft, and AI systems.
