With the surge in the release of semi-annual reports from A-share listed companies, structural market opportunities have come to the fore, prompting a notable uptick in private equity research activities in August. According to data compiled by third-party institutions, private equity firms conducted over 6,000 research visits to A-share companies during that month, marking a more than 200% increase from the preceding month. This upswing not only underscores the buoyant outlook of private equity firms on the market but also sheds light on their current investment priorities. In particular, August witnessed a pronounced focus by private equity firms on the two key sectors of 'hard technology' and 'big health', alongside a heightened emphasis on research into high-elasticity targets and leading enterprises within niche markets.
