In the 2025 AtCoder World Tour Finals, held in the vibrant city of Tokyo, a remarkable feat was accomplished. Psyho, a seasoned 42-year-old Polish programmer, emerged victorious by defeating a custom AI model from OpenAI. The prestigious event gathered 12 of the world's top human programmers and a formidable AI opponent. After an intense 10-hour coding marathon, Psyho secured the championship with a commendable lead of approximately 9.5% over the AI, earning a prize of 500,000 yen. The OpenAI model, despite its prowess, had to settle for second place.
