NVIDIA's CEO, Jensen Huang, has personally recruited two esteemed AI experts from Tsinghua University, Zhu Banghua and Jiao Jiantao, to join the company's ranks. Zhu Banghua will assume the role of Chief Research Scientist, while Jiao Jiantao will lead applied research within the Star Nemotron team. Their areas of focus will encompass model post-training, performance evaluation, agent development, and the construction of AI infrastructure. Additionally, they emphasize fostering collaborative innovation with the developer community and academia, with plans to openly share their research findings in a source-accessible format.
Prior to their NVIDIA appointments, Zhu Banghua and Jiao Jiantao co-founded Nexusflow, a generative AI startup launched in 2023, specializing in utilizing generative AI technology to aid enterprises in analyzing cybersecurity data.
