On June 26, Reuters, citing The Wall Street Journal, reported that Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg had successfully recruited three researchers from OpenAI to join his burgeoning "superintelligence" team. Prior to this move, OpenAI CEO Sam Altman had openly accused Meta of attempting to lure away his staff. The three researchers, hailing from OpenAI's Zurich office, have indeed departed, as confirmed by an OpenAI spokesperson, although the specific details surrounding their exit remain undisclosed.
