A groundbreaking achievement in the realm of neutral atom quantum information has been unveiled by a team led by Academician Guo Guangcan at the University of Science and Technology of China (USTC). Researchers from the groups of Li Chuanfeng and Wang Jian have successfully demonstrated ultra-fast, high-fidelity atomic state readout through the innovative coupling of a fiber microcavity with the Purcell region of neutral atoms. This advancement establishes new benchmarks for both speed and fidelity, surpassing previously reported public records.
