On June 25, CNBC reported that Sam Altman, the CEO of OpenAI, sharply criticized a trademark infringement lawsuit brought against his company by the hardware startup Iyo. Iyo accused IO, the AI hardware firm acquired by OpenAI, of infringing on their trademarks and product designs. In response, OpenAI has since removed the relevant promotional content but strongly denied the infringement allegations, dismissing the case as a "baseless trademark dispute".
