In response to the EU's Digital Markets Act, Apple has temporarily withheld the iPhone screen mirroring feature within the European Union. The company is concerned that the regulation may eventually require it to make this service accessible to Android devices, posing potential technical challenges and business risks. To preempt any regulatory conflicts, Apple has also decided to exclude this feature from the macOS 26 Tahoe release.
