To mitigate the severe meteorological drought affecting Gansu, Shaanxi, Henan, Shanxi, and other regions, the China Meteorological Administration orchestrated artificial rain enhancement operations. By the morning of the 23rd, these efforts included 32 aircraft missions and 1,316 ground-based operations, collectively impacting an area of approximately 683,000 square kilometers and augmenting precipitation by roughly 500 million tons. These measures have significantly alleviated the drought conditions in the affected areas.
