Zhuhai hosted a series of events commemorating National Assistance to the Disabled Day, centered around the theme of technology enabling a barrier-free life and the harmonious development of disability services in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area. The event drew over 120 representatives from the disabled community in Zhuhai, Hong Kong, and Macao. Separately, the Hong Kong police announced the dismantling of a cross-border money laundering syndicate, resulting in the arrest of 12 suspects and the seizure of nearly HK$118 million. Furthermore, the number of fraud cases in Hong Kong surged to 9,487 in the first quarter of this year, marking a 5.8% increase from the previous year, prompting the Commissioner of Police to emphasize the need for bolstering the cybersecurity ecosystem.
