At the 2025 SOHU Technology Annual Forum, Zheng Weimin, a professor in the Department of Computer Science at Tsinghua University and an academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, delivered a keynote address titled "Infrastructure Construction and Application Exploration of Large Models in Artificial Intelligence." In his speech, he highlighted two key characteristics of AI development in 2025: Firstly, the multimodal nature of AI, with large models capable of handling text, images, and videos seamlessly; secondly, the extensive application of AI in GDP-related industries, where China holds substantial advantages in driving AI implementation.
