On the 15th, the Qingdao Municipal Government Office unveiled the 'Action Plan for Digital Qingdao 2025', which aims to establish a multi-tiered fostering system for the digital industry, centered around an innovative industrial framework comprising '10+1' key sectors. The plan emphasizes the advancement of leading industries like new-generation information technology and artificial intelligence, while also fostering breakthroughs in emerging areas such as intelligent connected new energy vehicles and the low-altitude economy. It further promotes the upgrading of advantageous industries, like smart home appliances, and spearheads the development of futuristic industries, notably terahertz technology and marine electronic information. Additionally, the plan supports the establishment of high-end software and artificial intelligence provincial-level digital economy industrial clusters, fosters the development of China's renowned software city, and strives to cultivate over 300 specialized, innovative, and niche small and medium-sized enterprises within the digital economy sector. Simultaneously, Qingdao will expedite the enhancement of basic and industrial software R&D capabilities, encouraging enterprises to aspire to become among China's top 100 software enterprises.
