A research report from China Galaxy Securities reveals that the electronics industry in the first quarter was propelled by the construction of AI infrastructure, resulting in substantial growth across sectors including AI computing power, edge-side SoC, and PCB. AI technology is not only transforming the electronics industry ecosystem but also expediting the upgrade and iteration of related hardware components. The consumer electronics sector, buoyed by national subsidy policies, thrived during the traditionally slower season, with the Apple supply chain consistently demonstrating robust performance. Emerging innovations in the industry, such as liquid metal technology, AI glasses, and optical advancements, are anticipated to further bolster supply chain efficiency. The components sector, bolstered by downstream policy subsidies in the first quarter, is projected to maintain stability in the second quarter, characterized by balanced supply and demand for panels, LEDs, passive components, and other key materials, alongside robust operations from leading enterprises.
