Since the start of this year, China has intensified its focus on foundational research in artificial intelligence (AI), with a keen eye on practical applications. This strategic approach has led to the gradual integration of emerging technologies into diverse, real-world scenarios. Currently, China boasts a comprehensive AI industry system, spanning from the foundational layer to the application layer. As of April 9, the nation's AI patent applications totaled 1,576,379, representing 38.58% of the global figure and securing China's top spot worldwide. Furthermore, China has nurtured over 400 national-level, specialized, innovative "small giant" AI enterprises, contributing one-tenth to the global AI industry's scale.
