The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) has officially launched the latest edition of the "National Intelligent Manufacturing Standard System Construction Guide." Since 2015, MIIT has collaborated with entities such as the Standardization Administration of the People's Republic of China to publish four iterations of this guide. The newly released version strives to revise and establish over 100 national and industry standards by 2026. Unlike its three predecessors, this edition refines the structure and layout of the standard system, placing heightened emphasis on the integration and application of cutting-edge technologies like AI in manufacturing. Additionally, it introduces new standard guidelines for industrial software, smart equipment, and innovative manufacturing models, while also encompassing the development of standard systems tailored to specific industries like light manufacturing and chemicals.
