Moreover, TerraMind possesses the capability to generate new data through modal thinking techniques in instances where data might be missing. Benchmark tests have confirmed its status as one of the top-performing AI foundation models in Earth observation, significantly reducing the computational load. This groundbreaking model will be pivotal in monitoring methane leaks, tracking changes in forest cover and land use, and numerous other applications.
