Xie Shaofeng, Chief Engineer of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT), emphasized that the ministry will make every effort to bolster the integration of artificial intelligence (AI) into new-type industrialization. This involves, on one hand, intensifying research and development efforts in general-purpose and industry-specific large models, establishing high-quality datasets, and fostering "intelligent industrialization." On the other hand, MIIT aims to catalyze the intelligent transformation of the entire manufacturing process, key industries, and products, while expediting the industrialization and commercialization of super-intelligent terminals.
