GCL System Integration and the University of Hong Kong have jointly established the "University of Hong Kong-GCL System Integration Industrial AI Joint Laboratory," naming Professor Shen Zuojun, Vice President of the University of Hong Kong, as its Honorary Chief Scientist. Over the next five years, GCL System Integration plans to invest tens of millions of Hong Kong dollars in the construction and operation of this laboratory, with research endeavors encompassing supply chain optimization, intelligent material handling systems, and more. The initial R&D project will prioritize the AMHS intelligent material handling scheduling system, aiming to innovate AI algorithms for the efficient scheduling of thousands of OHT cranes, expedite the localization process, and minimize the costs associated with enterprises' intelligent transformation.
