According to the latest statistics from QuestMobile, as of February 2025, the Chinese market for AI-powered applications has witnessed a remarkable surge in its user base, achieving a monthly active user count of 240 million, marking a net growth of over 115 million users compared to previous reports. At the forefront of this growth stands DeepSeek, boasting 194 million monthly active users, closely followed by Doubao with 116 million and Tencent Yuanbao with 40.3 million, placing them in second and third positions respectively. Engagement levels with these AI-powered apps have also skyrocketed, with users spending an average of 113.7 minutes per month on these apps and utilizing them an average of 52.4 times per month.
