OpenAI made an announcement on Monday that it will soon discontinue access to its most advanced AI model, GPT-4.5, via its API. Notably, GPT-4.5 was introduced just at the end of February. According to OpenAI, developers will have until July 14 to utilize GPT-4.5 through the API, after which they will be required to transition to alternative models. As a recommended replacement, OpenAI suggests adopting GPT-4.1.
