The Global AI Africa Summit, themed "AI and Africa's Demographic Dividend," kicked off in Rwanda. President Kagame of Rwanda emphasized that Africa must seize the technological revolution's momentum through three pivotal strategies: accelerating digital infrastructure development, nurturing AI talent, and fostering policy coordination. At the summit, the African AI Council was formally established, with projections indicating that AI will contribute an estimated $2.9 trillion to the African economy by 2030. Furthermore, the summit unveiled the "African AI Supercomputing Center" initiative.
