The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, in collaboration with the Ministry of Education and the State Administration for Market Regulation, has jointly released the 'Implementation Plan for the Digital Transformation of the Light Industry'. This initiative aims to expedite the integration of digital technology to propel the advancement of the light industry, adhering to the action plan for digital transformation of the manufacturing sector outlined by the State Council. The plan envisions that by 2027, approximately 90% of key light industry enterprises will adopt digital R&D and design tools, with a digitization rate of approximately 75% for critical processes, resulting in the achievement of numerous digital transformation milestones.
