On October 31, Apple and Alibaba announced a partnership to integrate Qwen into Apple Intelligence. Chinese users will be able to directly access Qwen's text and image understanding and content generation capabilities through Siri, writing tools, and visual intelligence. The features will be available for testing in the latest iOS developer beta starting November 4 and will roll out to Chinese users with the official iOS 27.3 release in December.
