Anthropic has renamed its individual paid consumer plans for Claude. The former Max 20x tier is now called Ultra and costs $200 per month. Verified accounts are no longer subject to the 5-hour session usage cap, though weekly limits still apply. Ultra offers 10 times the weekly usage allowance of the Pro plan and includes priority access to new models, features, and products. The plan is currently available only as a monthly subscription. Anthropic will automatically verify Ultra accounts based on factors such as account and payment history—no action is required from users, who can check their verification status on the usage page in settings. The former Max 5x plan has been simplified to Claude Max, priced at $100 per month.
