According to the latest report, ‘China AI Software Market Semiannual Tracker, 26H1’, released by the International Data Corporation (IDC), the Chinese MaaS (Model as a Service) market soared to 10.63 billion yuan in the first half of 2026, marking a staggering year-on-year growth of 889.4%. Alibaba Cloud emerged as the clear leader in China’s large language model MaaS sector, capturing a dominant 46.6% market share. Zhipu and Volcano Engine followed in second and third place, with 10.6% and 10.2% shares, respectively. Notably, PPIO stood out as the sole independent MaaS provider on the list, securing the sixth position with an average daily Token invocation volume of 3.4 trillion—a nearly 20-fold increase compared to the previous year.
