On October 29, news emerged that Unitree Technology unveiled its financial results for the third quarter of 2026 on the evening of October 28. According to the report, the company's revenue for the quarter soared to 665 million yuan, marking a substantial 69.93% year-on-year surge. Nevertheless, the net profit attributable to the parent company stood at 113 million yuan, experiencing a 17.37% decline year-on-year and a nearly 50% drop compared to the previous quarter. In response to the profit downturn, officials from Unitree Technology's Board Secretary's Office clarified that the primary reason was the heightened investment in research and development (R&D) for computing power and large-scale models. They also emphasized that, in the long term, this impact is manageable, and the quarterly profit decrease represents just a transient fluctuation. Presently, R&D expenditures are being allocated in accordance with the predetermined fundraising plans, ensuring no reckless escalation in spending.
