Anthropic has announced the release of three new features: real-time Dashboards, and the launch of code-driven animations called Motion. Additionally, the suite of tools for documents, slides, and design has exited its beta phase and is now officially available to all users, including those on the free plan. The Dashboards are currently in beta and available only to paying users, while the animation feature is also in beta and restricted to Team and Enterprise users. The new Dashboards can connect to various enterprise data platforms, allowing users to generate dynamically updated dashboards through natural language queries, with both data sources and query logic fully traceable. The animation feature, driven by code, supports detailed modifications to individual effects, making it suitable for a variety of reporting and presentation scenarios. Furthermore, Claude now supports real-time collaborative editing for multiple users, with export formats compatible with commonly used office software. This update comes less than ten days after OpenAI launched its collaborative ChatGPT Space, as both major players target the daily office routines of workers, shifting the competitive focus from model parameters to comprehensive coverage of office scenarios, vying to become the primary gateway for users' daily work tasks.
