Uber and OpenAI announced an expanded partnership on Thursday, with Uber revealing to TechCrunch that approximately 30,000 employees worldwide will fully adopt ChatGPT Work. Launched in July this year, this enterprise-grade AI agent product is designed to help enterprise teams optimize various workflows. Previously, Uber had selected 1,000 employees for a pilot program across departments such as finance, operations, and product, achieving positive results. Now, the company has decided to extend its use company-wide. Uber's Vice President of Engineering, Sumant Srikumar, stated that around 80% of early adopters were non-engineers, demonstrating the broad applicability of ChatGPT Work.
