As reported by TechCrunch, Anthropic has recently published a work report that sheds light on substantial shifts in the company's workforce composition and business strategy over the past year. By August 2026, the operational hours logged by interactive AI agents, which are deployed by the company's staff, had surged to six times those of human employees. Concurrently, the recruitment rate for entry-level technical positions within the technology department has seen a dramatic drop, from 27% to a mere 9%. Despite the company's overall workforce tripling in size, the share of entry-level employees in the technology sector has diminished from 21% to 14%. In terms of its business model, Anthropic has honed in on enterprise-level API services, with roughly 80% of its revenue stemming from corporate clients. Impressively, eight out of the top 10 Fortune Global 500 companies have already integrated Anthropic's Claude large model into their operations.
