The Ministry of Commerce, in conjunction with eight other departments, has issued an opinion aimed at expediting the advancement of technology-driven commerce, with a particular focus on enhancing the quality of personalized services. The opinion underscores the importance of adhering to the principle of leveraging technology for the greater good and nurturing the growth of new, healthy, and standardized smart service sectors, such as those involving robot and virtual digital human companionship.
Simultaneously, the opinion advocates for the research, development, and industrialization of ultra-high-definition audiovisual technology, encouraging its widespread application across diverse domains including commercial districts, cultural entertainment, tourism, and education and training. This will facilitate an immersive audiovisual experience.
Furthermore, the opinion suggests harnessing technologies like artificial intelligence and digital twins to refine the research, development, and design of intellectual properties (IPs) within sectors such as culture, tourism, sports, Chinese fashion trends, and historical classics. This approach aims to promote cross-sectoral integration and elevate both service quality and user experience.
