On October 16, news broke that Hong Kong has inaugurated its first-ever 'Embodied AI International Application Training Hub'. This cutting-edge facility was set up by the Hong Kong Centre for Applied AI and Robotics (FLAIR), operating under the auspices of the Hong Kong Productivity Council. Among the inaugural group of seven technology partners honored and acknowledged were industry frontrunners like Root AI, Unitree Technology, and Zhiyuan Innovation. Remarkably, Root AI's versatile intelligent robot, AlphaBot 2, is already stationed at the hub, actively engaging in the training, testing, and refinement of embodied AI technologies within real-world settings.
