Hesai Technology recently released its 3D world data engine, Kosmo, and simultaneously introduced the world's first 8K ultra-high-definition AI spatial camera, Kosmo One, along with the AI-driven cloud platform, Kosmo World. This marks a significant step forward in its transition from the LiDAR sector to core infrastructure for physical AI. Kosmo One integrates multiple sensing components, achieving millimeter-level geometric accuracy and 8K image-grade quality, significantly lowering the barrier to spatial data collection. Combined with the Kosmo World cloud platform, it enables the rapid generation of multi-modal, semantically rich 3D data, effectively addressing the scarcity of high-quality 3D data in the fields of embodied AI and world models. Currently, Kosmo has been applied in various sectors, including film and media, cultural tourism, and spatial commercialization, and has established partnerships with renowned companies such as Pixar and AutoNavi. It has also signed strategic cooperation agreements with Galaxy General Robotics and Yuanli Lingji. Leveraging its deep expertise in the LiDAR field, Hesai Technology is strategically positioning itself with two core engines—the 3D world data engine and the robotic motion engine—to drive its transformation into a globally leading physical AI infrastructure company.
