Based on the latest research on the AI server industry conducted by TrendForce, as major hyperscale cloud service providers (CSPs) ramp up their investments in servers and AI infrastructure, the combined capital expenditure of the world's top nine CSPs is anticipated to exceed US$957 billion in 2026. This marks a significant year-on-year increase of 106%. Looking ahead to 2027, projections indicate that this figure will surpass US$1.5 trillion, boasting an annual growth rate of 60%—both metrics surpassing earlier forecasts. The overall server output value is expected to break the US$1 trillion mark for the first time next year, with the AI server segment nearing US$920 billion. This represents an annual growth rate exceeding 90% and will elevate AI servers' share of the total server output value to roughly 81%.
