TrendForce: Total CSP Capital Expenditure Expected to Exceed $1.5 Trillion by 2027

On October 14, TrendForce's latest research on the AI server industry revealed that as hyperscale cloud service providers (CSPs) increase their investments in servers and AI infrastructure, the total capital expenditure of the world's top nine CSPs is expected to surpass $957 billion in 2026, representing a 106% year-on-year increase. By 2027, it is projected to exceed $1.5 trillion, marking a 60% year-on-year growth, both surpassing previous forecasts. TrendForce highlighted that these nine CSPs include Google, Amazon, Meta, Microsoft, Oracle, as well as ByteDance, Tencent, Alibaba, and Baidu.
