The report from the Goldman Sachs team highlights that, following the 'DeepSeek Moment' in early 2025, Chinese AI-listed companies have amassed a market value nearing US$5 trillion, driven by surging stock prices and a flurry of IPOs. Presently, AI stocks constitute 42% of the total market capitalization across A-shares and Hong Kong-listed stocks, while also accounting for 57% of the overall trading volume. As a key player in the global AI supply chain, China commands roughly 50% of the worldwide market share in specific AI power and infrastructure domains. Moreover, the country has forged an internally circulating AI value chain that spans cutting-edge semiconductors, open-weight large language models, and the application layer.
