Google has formally launched its latest-generation image generation and editing model, Nano Banana 2.1. As an enhanced iteration of Nano Banana 2, this new model prioritizes boosting performance in image editing, visual design, text rendering, and maintaining subject consistency. It facilitates the integration of up to 14 reference images, ensuring consistent characteristics for up to 4 individuals and 10 objects concurrently. The model has been seamlessly incorporated into Gemini and a selection of Google's AI products tailored for both consumer and business use, supporting output resolutions of 1K, 2K, and 4K. Additionally, it resolves issues associated with anomalous texture blending in wide-format images.
